Coming to this year the major transits to change this year are of Rahu,Ketu,Saturn,Jupiter and Mars.
Saturn changed on 10th Sept 2009.Moving into Virgo Sign where 4 planets are located assumes importance and indicates precautions in health matters.
Mars changed on 5th October 2009 , moved in Cancer , its Debilitated Sign where it would remain till 26th May 2010.Good from Asendant and Moon sign so day to day problems are solved easily and opponents would be on backfoot.

VIMSHOTTARI DASA SYSTEM
In Vimshottari Dasa the year from 11th October 2009 to 11th October 2010 would be governed by Ketu Moon from 13th October 2009 to 14th May 2010 and from thereafter till 10th October 2010 the Antar of Ketu Mars would run.
(1)Since in transit Ketu is forming 6-8th house (Shadashtak) relationship with Natal Ketu in the Chart hence this period at least 15th feb 2010 may keep on giving him some uneasy moments in some matters.
(2) In general astrological principles Ketu Moon are not considered to give auspicious results when both are combined or one’s dasa and other’s antar is running.
(3)In h chart Ketu Moon are placed in trine to each other and in good signs hence there are going to be some good fortunate travels in this period which would be memorable.

The pratyantar of Mars in Moon would run from 1st November 2009 to 12th November 2009.
Mars would be in transit in Cancer Sign during this phase.Which suggests authority in this phase.But since this Mars is placed in 12th house from Moon in Virgo Sign in 8th house and in transit it is in Cancer sign which is debilitated sign of Mars in her 6th house hence it is strongly suggested to take care of health in this period.He have to seek medical advise regarding areas governing Chest and the organs below it and also the areas governing Kidney and intestines.Though Mars moves in 9th house in cuspal chart and thus eliminates the ill effects of 8th house but still its placement behind Moon would require some caution.
