He has worked in Oonche Log with the Eccentric known Rajkumar and it is said that during the shooting of the film in one scene he was supposed to be slapped by Rajkumar. The eccentric kumar slapped him so heavily that everybody on the set was shocked  and stunned.But the great Dilip Saab kept cool.

Madhumati, Mughle Aazam ,Kohinoor , Raam Aur Shyaam, Aadmi , Dil diya  dard liya ,Devdaas, Sagina etc have been amongst the superhits of his time.

Duniya ,Shakti ,Vidhaata have been amongst the hits in the later innings.

In his horoscope the lord of 5th house-Venus is in 11th house having aspect on own sign Taurus thus creating a full creativity and expression. This Lord of 5th house is in Kendra in cusp chart which is again a powerful Rajyoga.

The lord of 4th(Kendra) house is Mars and is placed in 2nd house but which has moved to 1st house in Cusp chart is again  a powerful Rajyoga.
