Mujhse Dosti Karoge is the romantic story of Raj (Hrithik Roshan), Tina (Kareena Kapoor) and Pooja (Rani Mukherjee).the trio become friends together, get to know each other, and fall in love with each other. But, the things they have shared, are not all they could have. The one most important has been kept secret. 
Amongst Raj, Tina, and Pooja there is a great deal of love. Some as friends, and most as much more, but none of these feelings are ever explored. Not until something happens to change the tale. Something that makes Pooja, Raj and Tina realize that they are more than just friends and that friendship comes before love. And the future for these friendships is comprimised as the past is revealed or is it? 
Here is the true story behind Raj, Pooja and Tina.

Pooja, a young conservative but modern young woman has been friends with Raj for over fifteen years. She has been his confidante, the one he empathizes with, laughs with and shares his all with. But the biggest thing that he has shared with Pooja is his love for his child hood friend, Tina.

Tina, is also great friends with Pooja. While the two are poles apart in terms of character, they too are confidantes who will do anything for each other. Tina is a more modern girl in every sense, and has a bunch of guys drooling over here. But one of them, Raj, has been after her since they were kids, and she has been unable to reciprocate this love.And Raj is the central character between them. He is hurt when Tina goes off and leaves him when they were kids, but is happy that he has Pooja to share his utmost sincere feelings with. Pooja helps him through it all and keeps his hopes up for Tina's return. But Pooja has done more than he thinks.

When Tina left him when they were kids, Raj continued to remain in touch with her via emails. He confided in Pooja about these emails, and Pooja continued to comfort him that she would once return.

But it is really Pooja writing these emails as Tina. And fifteen years later, Tina returns as the three rekindle their long
friendship. Tina realizes that she and Raj are more than they were when she left. That's when Pooja tells Tina what she has done, and Tina couldn't be happier for she too loves Raj now.

Amongst the mishaps, Pooja too realizes she is in love with Raj, but is not sure if it is just as friends. She keeps her feelings quiet as Raj and Tina slowly recover lost ground. Then Tina realizes she has to make a decision. Does she tell Raj that it was actually Pooja writing those emails and not her?

Thus enfolding is a true picture about friendship, lovers and Raj, Pooja and Tina will discover just that!
