PHILOSOPHY OF KARMA

Philosophy; Immediate result; Three categories; Accumulated; Lord Budha Astrological Theory;    Geeta

Quite unexpectedly, one fact may be incessantly observed by many of us that one who resorts to antisocial activities is prosperous and the virtuous are living a miserable life. This fact disheartens most of the persons, who honestly and desperately try to attain a satiable and peaceful life and very often they have been witnessed for the diversion of their deeds from sacred to sacrilegious one. As a matter of fact these persons present a distorted dialectical approach to justify their misdeeds. they may cite examples that innocent people seldom get the desired result and the wicked men flourish like anything and it is fate which controls every act. While remonstrating the virtuous act they only express their awareness with the significance of 'KARMA' in shaping the 'FATE'.

The philosophy of 'KARMA' is interrelated with the soul and not the physical body. The physical body is to be laid to rest forever at a particular time whereas the soul enjoys a perpetual existence and numerous verified cases of recollection of incidents of past lives are a testimony to this fact. Man releases energy in the form  of his actions, speech and ideas which become substratum for a future event. The energy, once released has to enforce and assume the shape of 'phala' (Result) as a consequence of of undergoing treatment according to the law of cause and effect. Karma forces enter the ether region and consume some time before they sprout in the form of event. The portion of immature "Karma' which could not adduce the result during the current life of individual, tend to surround his soul when it leaves the physical body. And at this junction, it is guided by 'Prarabdha Karma' (Operative) to choose a suitable environment for it to develop. This is known as rebirth.

Karma produces results in two ways(1)Sanskaras (immediate results), (2)Phala(remote result) .The sanskaras (immediate results) are the reactions on individual which leave an impression on his all-round personality. These 'Sanskaras' immediately engenders results and keep on happening till their being counteracted or destructed. 'Phala' (remoter result) consist of rewards for sacred acts and punishment for evil deeds. Such rewards & punishment seldom arrive in the current lifetime of an individual as these take long time to arrive at. 'Phala' (remoter result)  as a matter of rule dawns in later births only except(1)when the individual is doing Karma (kriyamana) and has no future birth to face the Karma Phala (remoter result), then he will have to witness the results in the same life;(2)when the karma (action ) is extremely wicked or highly sacred, in that case also the individual will have to quickly face the results during the same birth.

As it is well known that Soul enters a physical body and suffers or enjoys the results according to the 'karma ' done. Karma is divided in three categories:(1)Sanchit (accumulated);(2)Prarabdha (operative);(3)Kriyamana (prospective)

Out of the Sanchit good deeds what one starts realizing is Prarabdha (operative ) and the karma which is being done or which would be done is "kriyamana' (prospective). 'Sanchit"is the karma accumulated on account of the actions (wicked or sacred) performed in a particular birth (e.g. may be previous birth).Prarabdha '(Operative ' is a portion of Sanchit which an individual is scheduled to suffer or enjoy in the new birth  and 'Kriyamana '(Prospective) is the one which would again be done in this new birth or being done. It is discernible that the Kriyamana would once again accumulate to become sanchit on this so referred new birth.

A wicked person may lead a prosperous life as a result of "Sanchit" (Accumulated) karma of previous birth and the Fate excuse  opted by the persons diverting their sacred deeds to sacrilegious one  is nothing but 'Prarabdha' Operative) which the person was scheduled to suffer or enjoy because of 'Sanchit '(Accumulated) .But once the Prarabdha is over the flourish ness or miserable ness of a person would once again depend on the Kriyamana (Prospective) of the current birth .Long back Lord BUDDHA had said "Even " an evil doer sees good as long as evil ripens not; but when it bears fruit then he sees the evil results. Even a good person sees evil so long as good ripens not; but when it bears fruit then he sees the good result".

This logic can be more easily understood by the account holders of bank. As long as there is a credit Balance Sanchit] (Accumulated) the a/c holder can enjoy it but if he does not deposit [kriyamana] [[Prospective] money the balance would keep on diminishing to reach NIL and then a debit balance would be shown {[Prarabdha] [Operative] for his son if father dies } and this overdraw facility cannot exceed beyond a certain limit. On the other hand if a person opens a small savings a/c in a bank and keeps on making deposits then gradually he may build a huge credit balance.

The Astrological theory of Own-Sign, Exalted , debilitated ,friendly sign inimical sign , Neutral sign is nothing but an account of what balance one has maintained in each of the accounts run by the NINE PLANETSe.g. Good deeds related to SUN and acts done on Sundays would reflect the account status in a Sun's account which may be Exalted  (Huge deposits  Good deeds) Debilitated( Overdraw & Bad deeds).

If a person grasps this concept of Karma and the result thereon then it would be not so far to conclude that patience always pays and that the persons pampered in antisocial activities will have to bear the fruits of evil and those performing sacred acts will bear the fruits of Karma.

In Geeta also  it is the Karma which has been stressed "karmanye vadhikaraste maphaleshu kadachana"-Do karma and do not bother about the phala- as you sow so shall you reap. So it is for everyone how does one desire to shape the karma .

This logic can be more easily understood by the account holders of bank. As long as there is a credit Balance[Sanchit](Accumulated) the a/c holder can enjoy it but if he does not deposit [kriyamana][[Prospective]money the balance would keep on diminishing to reach NIL and then a debit balance would be shown{[Prarabdha][Operative] for his son if father dies } and this overdraw facility cannot exceed beyond a certain limit. On the other hand if a person opens a small savings a/c in a bank and keeps on making deposits then gradually he may build a huge credit balance.
